How to Download TwitCasting Recordings

Paste a TwitCasting movie link into ClipItNow to save a past broadcast as MP4 — no app and no account needed.

TwitCasting (ツイキャス) is a Japan-focused live-streaming service where creators broadcast and, if they choose, keep the recording online afterwards as a past broadcast. There is no built-in download button, so to watch a recording offline you need an outside tool. ClipItNow handles this: paste the recording's movie URL — the address shaped like twitcasting.tv/<user>/movie/<id> — and it parses the past broadcast into an MP4 you can save. It works in any browser on iPhone, Android or PC, with nothing to install and no TwitCasting account. Only finished recordings can be captured; a stream that is still live has to end first.

How to download — 4 quick steps

On TwitCasting, open the broadcaster's profile and go to their past broadcasts, then open the recording you want. Copy the URL, which looks like https://twitcasting.tv/username/movie/123456789 (in the app use Share then Copy link).
Open ClipItNow in your browser, paste the movie URL into the box at the top of the page and press Download. Give it a few seconds to analyse the recording.
Once parsing finishes, pick a format: choose an MP4 quality to keep the video, or Audio only (MP3) for just the sound. For long broadcasts, dropping one quality step keeps the file size manageable on a phone.
Press download for your chosen format and the file saves to your device. On iOS it is saved into the Files app first, from where you can move it to Photos; on Android and PC it goes to the Downloads folder.

Tips & troubleshooting

ClipItNow can only save finished, publicly viewable recordings. A broadcast that is still live has to end and be published as a past broadcast before it can be parsed. Streams that are protected — password / secret-word (合言葉) broadcasts, members-only or group-limited recordings, and ticketed premier broadcasts — need a logged-in, entitled account, so they cannot be downloaded. If a broadcaster set a stream not to be recorded, or the recording's viewing period has expired, the page won't open and there is nothing to save.

Recordings carry the broadcaster's copyright and likeness rights. Keep any download to private use — watching later or where you have no connection — and never re-upload, mirror or cut-and-repost the file without permission. Frequently asked questions

Can I download a broadcast while it is still live?

No. A live stream keeps growing in real time, so ClipItNow works with the recording that TwitCasting generates after the broadcast ends. Wait until the past-broadcast page is published, then paste that movie URL to save it.

Are the viewer comments saved with the video?

No. Only the picture and sound are saved. TwitCasting comments are display-only data attached to the recording page and are not part of the MP4 file, so if you want to keep them you'd need a separate method such as screen recording.

Why does it say the recording can't be saved?

In most cases the recording is protected or gone: a password (secret-word) broadcast, a members-only or ticketed premier stream, or a recording whose viewing period has expired. Open the page in a logged-out browser — if it won't play there, ClipItNow can't parse it either.

Which URL should I paste — the profile or the movie link?

Use the movie link that points to the specific recording, in the form twitcasting.tv/username/movie/number. A plain profile or channel link doesn't identify a single video, so ClipItNow can't tell which broadcast to fetch.
