ClipItNow (clipitnow.net) is an online tool that helps users retrieve publicly available media from third-party URLs supplied by the user. ClipItNow does not produce, create, upload, host, or store any content, and is not a “producer” (primary or secondary) as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2257, § 2257A and 28 C.F.R. § 75 of any content that may be accessed, referenced, or displayed as a thumbnail through the service.

All content originates from third-party websites and their respective operators/producers, who are solely responsible for compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and for creating and maintaining the required age-verification and record-keeping documentation. Any § 2257 record-keeping inquiries must be directed to the original producing website that hosts the content in question.

The operator of ClipItNow relies on the record-keeping compliance of the originating third-party sites and does not itself maintain such records, as it is not a producer of the content. ClipItNow prohibits, and takes down upon notice, any content that is unlawful or that depicts minors.
